What A glorious season at the NYRF so far, the shows for the most part are very fun. The NYRF have brought back what made the fair fun in the first place. There are weak points but  they can be over looked for the days at Faire bring me back to the golden age of NYRF. So much so it seems older Rennies are brushing off their old garb, after letting it out ! As one friend Drake said, well I got out my $500 doublet after four years of storage and after finding mice had been nibbling on the ends and having made a nest in his goblet. I realize it had been too long since I made an appearance! Though there is grey in our beards now, this was a fun hobby. If we realize not to live 24/7 here it still can be! For the first thing he also admitted was liking being able to buy things and not worry about spending money he can't afford. Which the real world allows! Yes this is a lifestyle but only for some our livelihood! Life, Love and Family can happen around the fair as long as you keep all thing Balanced and real in you own self!!! So yes the magic I lost has come back, with the knowledge that generations of rennies still exist. Living their Wanderlusts in Mondane-e-a and though we aren't all the same on the outside world here we might forgive our past and tolerate each other to let the magic live, and thrive her in our own magical Kingdom of NYRF!!!

For those who know me, understand that I am a SCA noble. I have a GOA which make me an honored Lord or THL. I need advise as I know it is my duty as even a lesser noble to serve to a couple who I said I'd make garb for if they were ever to sit on an SCA thrown. I remade the offer, and am waiting to here back from them, my problem isn't the making or giving its the presintation. In that I hate large crouds and whould preffer to give it over in a more discret manner!!!  Would it be impolite to ask for this type of Venue!!!
